"To be truly visionary, we have to root our imagination in our concrete reality while simultaneously imagining possibilities beyond that reality."

How do I know if psychotherapy is right for me?
If you’re curious about your own stories, yearning for more connection (with yourself and/or with others), or feeling stuck, psychotherapy can be a lovely place to start.
You don’t have to be in crisis to seek support; psychotherapy can also be a space for exploration, integration, and imagining new possibilities for your life.
Consider checking out this short video on how I imagine the process of psychotherapy. If you find resonance, perhaps psychotherapy is right for you at this time.

What are your areas of focus?
I journey with folks navigating grief, complex trauma, identity exploration, relational dynamics, and the impacts of systemic oppression. I’m especially passionate about supporting elders, people in their end-of-life stages, those who hold marginalized identities, and anyone who wants to heal in ways that also honor collective liberation.
I approach my all of my work through an anti-oppression and trauma-informed lens, aligned with racial justice and grounded in queer and trans-affirming, fat-positive, sex-positive, disability-inclusive, and culturally humble practices.
-
Is everything I share confidential?
Yes. Confidentiality is a cornerstone of our work together. There are a few legal and ethical exceptions (such as imminent risk of harm), which we’ll discuss fully at the start, so you have informed consent (which is and should be ongoing and supportive with any psychotherapist you may choose to work with).
More information on informed consent here.
-
I’m nervous about starting psychotherapy. Is that part of the process?
Absolutely. Reaching out for support is a courageous act of love for self and other, and it’s completely natural to feel hesitant or unsure. We’ll move at a pace that feels respectful of your needs and capacity.
You’re not alone in this—psychotherapy is a shared, co-created journey, and your readiness and needs matter deeply.

I'm not quite ready for psychotherapy yet. Do you have recommended resources in the meantime?
Yes, I am so glad you asked—I do! Check ‘em out here.
Not ready yet?
If you're not ready just yet, that's okay.
Healing moves like the tide—sometimes arriving in quiet waves. You're welcome to linger, explore, or simply rest here awhile.
When you're ready, the path will be waiting.
Until then, may you find a gentle companion in the words and resources shared along the way.
